I understand the difference between the meanings of A and B. However, can A be reconstructed without the 'the' and without altering the meaning and grammatical correctness? Hello Sunil, Thanks for sharing your insights. My problem was that both concept-wise and technique-wise, I had not developed any consistent strategies for math. My aim while solving the OG was to get the answer right, which I did for most problems, and so moved on to the next ones without analysing....

Can 'even' be removed from 'even though' in the correct answer without altering the meaning? The sentence would become: Grant ordered a bottle of red wine, though Marie had expected him to order a bottle of white wine. or Grant ordered a bottle of red wine, though Marie had expected him to order one...

Hello! We commonly use the idiom 'The theory holds that ... (facts that a theory states)'. Eg. The theory holds that photons exhibit wave-particle duality. Hi!

Are any of the idiomatic expressions below more preferred to the others?
Are they all grammatically correct?


1. To form mud or clay into bricks
2. Bricks are formed out of mud or clay
3. Bricks are formed from mud or clay
