A QT sentence - A candy wholesaler needs

by ghag.kamlesh Fri Jul 19, 2013 11:39 am

Hello,

I came across this sentence in one of the CAT exam. This sentence is a part of QT problem, and not actually in sentence correction section.

I am not able to understand the construction of this sentence. Actually, to point out the word - nearing - is somewhat not convincing me. If anyone can share his or her expertise in SC, then it would be great.

A candy wholesaler needs to quickly sell some candy bars that are nearing their expiration date, so he reduced the price of the candy bars.

Thanks in advance.

Kamlesh,
I'm sorry, I don't understand your question. Can you please be more specific? Tell us exactly what help you need.

Also, I'm unclear--is this a question from one of our CAT tests? If so, please post the question and all answer choices.

Thanks!
