Best way to study combinatorics / permutations

by Guest Fri Sep 12, 2008 1:57 pm

I've been through all the MGMAT books, while I have greatly improved I still feel like I need a little more practice. Are there any other good books out there, or any other methods that people can recommend.

Thanks!

We just released a new edition of our Strategy Guides, and the Word Translation book now discusses some other solving methods. (Check out our website for details, and instructions on how to swap your current books for the new ones.)

More generally, we wouldn't recommend that you spend too long on this topic at the expense of others. Combinatorics/permutations problems are pretty rare on the GMAT, and are often not as complicated as such problems found elsewhere.
