CAT 2 Math Q33:
What is the sum of the digits of the positive integer n where n < 99?
1) n is divisible by the square of the prime number y.
2) y4 is a two-digit odd integer.
Hi, in this question, I thought that we had to find the precise number of n which is less than 99, because the question stem was not saying that "What is the sum of the digits of all possible values of positive integer n where n<99?" As both statements are insufficient to find the exact number of n, I ended up with E, which is the wrong answer.
For C to be the correct answer, don't we need this underlined definition to be expressed in the question stem? If not, I would appreciate if any of the instructors could explain why?
Thank you very much in advance.
