Changing answer after hitting next

Hi,
I wrote a Manhattan GMAT practice test yesterday. For one of the questions I changed my answer after hitting next and before hitting confirm.
So if i selected say selected A as the answer to begin with and then changed it to B just before hitting confirm. During my review I noticed that it showed A as the selected answer and not B.
Would the same thing happen on GMAT also if changed the answer after hitting next.

It should record whatever your last answer was. But one thing you should do: if you hit next and then change your answer, hit next again. Then hit confirm.
