Chapter 2 In action Problem number 7

Hi there,

Not a difficult question but I would like to have some clarification on the "0" in the GMAT.
In question 7, we are asked to answer wheter c*d*e is even if c,d,e are consecutive integers.
I would have answered that we cannot determine because if C=0, c*d*e = 0.
But the guide says even.

So can you please tell me what in the text should have brought me to exclude "0" from the possible values for C ?

what makes you think you were supposed to exclude 0? 0 is just fine here. 0 is even. 0 is an integer. who told you otherwise?
