Combinatorics

by ram.eecha Thu Apr 25, 2013 2:37 pm

Combinatorics problems provided in MGMAT guides in 4th and 5th editions were simple and easy to solve with logical step by step analysis. But the combinatorics problems found in other GMAT forums were pretty tough, and taking lots of time to understand. Please let me know the difficulty levels of combinatorics problems in real GMAT.

Hi Ram,
It's interesting that you say that, because I find our combinatorics problems in the strategy guides far trickier than those you see in the Official Guides 12 and 13. The best indicator of what you will see on the GMAT is the official questions seen there; if you can handle those I would feel pretty good about your prospects with the questions on real GMAT. Also, keep in mind that you should have at most two combinatorics questions, so it's not a terribly important topic. Best wishes!
