Cominatorics + Probability

1. Are there any really good posts regarding different ways of thinking of combinatorics & probability

2. Are there any (preferably free & online) outside rescources about the topics?

I'm just starting to run into more difficult combinatorics/ probablility range and would like a different perspective - as i'm getting most of these types of questions wrong

In my experience, combinatorics problems found in non-GMAT sources are more complicated than you are likely to see on the GMAT. You can search the entire web, but you might be better off searching this forum for such discussions. Let us know if that doesn't produce the guidance you want.

after looking - i'd agree

are there any particular forum posts you think i'd find useful in this regard. Just your favorite 1 or 2 would suffice.

Thanks!

Sure, here are a a couple on combinatorics, particularly the "when does order matter?" question that seems to confuse many people.

And here are two threads on a single probablility question. The question is fairly representative of GMAT probability, and it is nice to see multiple approaches to the same real-life situation.
