Competitiveness of GMAT Score

by as03ru Fri Jul 24, 2009 9:29 am

Hi,
I recently wrote the GMAT and received the following scores:

Verbal: 36 (78 percentile)
Quantitative: 49 (89 percentile)
AWA: 5.5 (76 percentile)
Overall: 710 (92 percentile)

My target schools are:
US: HBS, Stanford, Wharton, Columbia, Chicago, NYU, Dartmouth, and Berkeley
Europe: London Business School and Insead
Canada: Queens and Richard Ivey

Is my GMAT score acceptable for my target schools? Should I plan on retaking the GMAT in order to boost my verbal score?

Thank you for your advice

The GMAT is only one piece of the puzzle. Do you feel that you are capable of doing better on the exam? Can you tell me more about your profile? That will give me a better feel for if you need to try to achieve a higher score.
