Hi Ishan,

Choosing an MBA program is an important process and must be based on your goals for earning an MBA. Commenting on the differences between programs without that frame of reference may not be helpful. If you would like to share your goals for earning an MBA with me then I am sure I could offer a few more specific observations.

One goal many MBA applicants share is an interest in earning this credential from a highly recognizable institution. For some, that means being part of a strong regional network and for others that means an interest in being part of a strong international network. Based on your goals, you should ask the representatives at BU's EMBA program where most of the school's graduates come from and where they are located now. This may highlight a strong regional network for BU grads.

Generally, the participants who join Cornell's Executive MBA program are interested in being part of an international group of classmates and graduating into the global Cornell alumni network. If having these broader networks is more important to you than a regional focus in your networking opportunities then Cornell can certainly provide this to you.

Good candidates for EMBA programs always have choices. You must begin by identifying what you feel is important, why you are interested in earning an MBA degree at this point in your career, and what sort of program benefits and resources will provide you with the best tools for your long-term career advancement. I would never suggest that the CQEMBA offers the best fit for every EMBA candidate: the variety of goals across candidates is too great for that to be true. However, our program may be best suited to your needs if you are looking for an opportunity to earn a highly regarded credential that is widely recognized globally.

Thanks,
Danny
