General question about Choice "D" in Data Sufficiency

by czwang12 Sun Apr 01, 2012 12:19 am

Hi,

I've noticed while doing some practice problems that when both the statements are sufficient, they always give the same answer (i.e. if I needed to find "x," both statements would independently return "x=2."

Can I count on this always being the case?

Thanks in advance!

absolutely. otherwise the statements would be contradictory, which the GMAT does not allow..
