Geometry Strategy Guide 6th Ed: Ch. 6 #5

I am having trouble understanding the answer key to Question #5 in the 6th Edition Geometry Guide Chapter 6 (Coordinate Plane).

The question is as follows:

A line has the equation: x=y/80. At which point does this line intersect the x-axis?

My though process is the x-axis would require y=0, if y=0, then x=0. Therefore the point at which the line crosses the x-axis is (0,0).

The answer key says the the correct answer is (-20,0). Is the answer key wrong or could someone help explain this?

do you have the e-guide, or the paper guide?

i think i remember seeing a posting about this problem on here before. if recall correctly, i think this was an issue in the e-book.

in any case, YOUR reasoning is entirely correct, and that is what matters here.

I have both the e-book and hard copy. I use the e-book more because I study at work when I have free time
