by sunilpanigrahi27 Tue Feb 04, 2014 6:29 am

Hi,

I'm planning 2 re-take my GMAT xam fr the 3rd time... Prev 2 attempts I didnt get gud score. It was in around 400 range. now I have 4 yrsd work-ex in investment banking company with a strong profile in finance domain. So will a 3rd attempt and with decent score around 650-700 fetch me admission in US univ ?? Please suggest asap.... Need your suggestions... Please help me out ...

Hi Sunil,

Business schools will take your highest score, so you can and should give it another shot! As for getting into business school, you could look at say the US News & World Report Business School ranking to see a list of average GMAT scores by school, or you can look at each school's website or Businessweek.com... you'd want to be close to the school's average score (or above) or better chances of admission, and the application will also showcase your professional work experience, your academics, past accomplishments, recommendations, ambitions, etc, so many factors are considered. Good luck and start with some GMAT preparation if possible!
