GMAT CAT test question

by chriswu Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:04 am

I was reviewing one of the CAT tests I took and had difficulty understanding the logic of a question called "Goodbuddies". I'll try to write this without giving away too much of the question.

The question effectively states that "Frankie insists upon standing behind Joey" in a line. For the solution, it says it Frankie just has to be next to Joey (infront or behind). So the solution didn't quite make sense to me that you could just take half of 720 (6!) and get the answer.

I thought it would be somewhere between answer choices C and D.

Thanks!

Hi, 2 things - when you post a question, please post the complete text and answer choices. Second, I know this one has been discussed on the forums before - do a search for "frankie" or "joey" so you can see the explanation. And, in future, do a search first before posting a question - if the question has already been asked and answered, then you won't have to wait for an explanation! :)
