GMATPrep and OG questions are real past test questions - so they're the most like the real test questions that anyone can get. Our questions were written by us. We do our best to mimic the real test writers, but we don't actually have the same brains. :)
Generally speaking, it's a good idea to do a mix. This is because the absolute best *questions* are the real ones, but the best *explanations* come from the test prep world. So do both.
The official test has 5 Q types: Data Sufficiency, Problem Solving, Sentence Correction, Reading Comp, and Critical Reasoning. We cover all 5 types in our books.
(Note: the test is changing in June and will add a new section called Integrated Reasoning with 4 new question types. But if you're taking the test before then, you don't need to worry about those.)
GMATPrep is free and is a good resource. Go to mba.com to download it (them, really - there are 2 practice CATs). I believe you may have to create an account in order to download the software, but that is also free. (Note: right now, the software only works on PCs. A Mac version is scheduled to be released in April.)
