I usually get around 8 to 10 incorrects in verbal section practice tests.
Recently, I gave one manhattan Gmat practice test and got 8 incorrects. My Verbal score was 43.
Yesterday, I gave Gmat Prep test and got 9 incorrects. My verbal score was 31. I would expect in the worst case with 9 questions wrong one to get atleast 38, considering 99% people make atleast 5 mistakes and I made 4 more. Expect my percentile to be around 90. But 31 was totally unexected. Also, I got 6 wrongs in first 20 and 3 wrongs in last 21. I did not get any two wrongs consecutively.
Can someone explain this variation?
(In quant I made 7 mistakes in both tests and got 50 in each, so I am happy with this)
