Hi there,
Thanks for posting, it sounds like you have an interesting background, and yes non-traditional for sure, and lots of info you could include in an application but as you indicated, could use some help putting that story together and highlighting the key traits and experiences you want to focus on.
A non-traditional profile CAN be a plus, it can help you get noticed and be remembered, so if it is supported by strong scores and strong essays that make a compelling case for why HBS 2+2, it can get you that much closer to an acceptance. Additionally, programs are always looking for qualified female applicants as well.
The things that stood out to me first were your nationality, your fine arts background/experience, your strong GPA at Columbia, and entrepreneurial experiences.
Your dropping out of school earlier could potentially raise some q's in some circumstances, but with the work experience and then the subsequent enrollment and maintaining academic success at Columbia, it is less of a concern.
I think you'll want to work on weaving your story together as you described, and also better crystallizing your career goals. Even though it's common to change your goals during the MBA and as you gain more experience, in a competitive admissions environment, those who can make more a strong case for the degree related to their goals often fare better.
Re: the internship decision, I'd suggest whatever makes the most sense based on those career goals will work best for you personally and for your application.
