Hidden Quadratics - Need a Gut Check

by skyjarrett12 Sun Nov 11, 2012 12:45 pm

Hello -

So regarding the concept of hidden quadratics, I realize that n(n+1)=6 is a hidden quadratic but I'm wondering why i couldn't just make n=6 and n+1=6; n=5? Is it because the term would have to be equal to 0 for me to be able to do that?

Just need a gut check on that to make sure my gut is correct.

Thanks much!
