How much DS on real gmat

hi MGMAT,

Yesterday i was giving a mock test at gmat prep. While doing the quant section i got around 28-29 ques from DS and only a few PS. Can that be the case on real GMAT also. Additionally, I get blown off when i get down to solve DS as compared to the quantity of PS ques. Is there some strategy on how to work that out so that i can handle so many data sufficiency questions mostly in a row without much lose of energy and spirit?

[ Although I know that every ques I got after first 3-4 ques was a 7-9 leveler on a scale of 10 on the mock test but I didn't complete the verbal section so I didn't get my score. ]

Hmm, that's odd. Usually you get about half problem solving and half data sufficiency.
