Hello.
I would like to get some advice from you how to succeed in verbal section of the test. I want to take the test in 2 months or so.
I have studied on my own, recently took 2 official mock tests by GMAC. I scored 690 and 700.
49 math / 35 verbal
50 math / 34 verbal.
Later on I practiced more for the math section.
My goal is at least to pass 700 barrier, but I would be very glad to get 750.
I am from Armenia. I have studied English on my own, but now I have some problems in verbal section, mainly in SC. Also, it is no quite easy for me to get RC questions right. When I read passages, I understand most of the words, but it is difficult for me to grasp the meaning at once. I have read a lot of books in English, more than 10.000 pages, but still I have the problem.
I have gone through official guide 13, verbal review, manhattan gmat guides and some other materials.
I have a full time job, I am also a student, have a fitness classes 3 times a week, have a BF. But I am determined to do my best to achieve my goal and I am ready to study hard. I clearly see what is required to strengthen my math skills, but I am not sure where to start when it is about the verbal section.
So here I definitely need your advice. Please tell me where to start and what to do to really improve in 2 months???
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Thanx :)
