how to use the NPZ process in the CLA method when combining?

by whodeani Tue Nov 13, 2007 9:58 pm

Based on the DS lab online, for YES/NO questions that deal with on variable, but questions about posative or negative issues, there is no explanation about how to use the NPZ process in the CLA method when combining both statements. Is it safe to say I wont have to worry about this?

Good question - you might have to do this if you do get to the point of assessing the two statements together (that is, you eliminate A, B, and D). The best way to handle this is to be smart about picking numbers when you look at the statements individually. Whatever you try for statement 1, try those same numbers (whenever allowed) for statement 2. That way, if you do have to look at the two statements together, you can just re-use some of the numbers you've already tried - that saves you a lot of time.
