inequality +integer problem

Given that x^3 * y^4 = 5000 . Is y=5?
1) y>0
2) x is an integer

Ron, how the correct answer is 'c', i don't get it. My works says it is ''E''. am i wrong?

The answer to the question as you have written it is E. What is the source for the problem? Is it possible that you transcribed the problem incorrectly?
