Lower Second Score

Hi,

I have a question regarding a lower score on the second attempt. If I were to score a 580 on my first try and score lower or about the same on my 2nd try, would this hurt me in the eyes of the admissions comittee?

Most schools allow you to submit your highest score and may not see any subsequent or previous attempts until after you have been accepted and they verify your official score.
