Manhattan CATs

by Nz Wed Oct 19, 2011 9:31 am

Hi,
I am about to take the Manhattan CAT test to gauge where I stand. Kindly let me know if I can take the 3rd Cat first as I heard that the first 2 CATs are tough. Then I will take the 5th, 6th and then 1st and 2nd. Will I still be able to see the same diagnostics as taking them serial wise or is there any downside to this?

Thanks
Nz

All CATs are adaptive - meaning there is no "3rd CAT" or "1st CAT" or anything like that, and no certain CAT is harder than any other. All questions come from the same database, and all questions are selected based on your performance at that time while you're taking the test. You simply start a test and it selects questions from the database based on your performance (with the restriction that, for the first six tests, it won't give you a question you've already seen).

I can imagine that lots of people feel the first test is the hardest, because that's when we're the least prepared. :)
