MBA admission chances calculator by Aringo

by mkan Thu Mar 14, 2013 2:02 pm

Hi,

Did anyone try the online MBA admission chances calculator on Aringo's website? did you find it accurate? It's fun to play with but I'm not sure I got a fair result...

That is a very good point. Another thing I had trouble with is promotions - I had several jobs but I'm not sure one is better than the other and if it counts as promotion.

Regarding promotions, if you work in the same industry for a few years it is clear when one position is more senior than another and what is considered as promotion.

That's a good point, although it is probably clear only to someone who knows the industry well enough.

What if you don't work for the same company, but move to a different position at a different company? how do you know if that counts as promotion?

This forum is awesome. I wish a lot of forum users would visit and share their thoughts on matters. I have not tried the said tool but I will be trying it soon. I would need to check on their website first before doing it.

Hi there! I am glad with the idea of bumping into someone with the same name as mine. Are there any other companies/websites which caters services for individuals aspiring to get MBA or any other field for instance?

Good day. I believe that English communication skills are as significant as finishing good education. From a country where English is not a native dialect, I would like to improve my knowledge with the English language before getting into higher education. Could this website help me?

Yes. Aside from Aringo, there are other consulting companies. For you to land on the right track, I suggest you make a research about your options. Choose your top three, then browse their websites. Then make a decision on to what company to trust on with your needs.

Can I rely on this tool? My plans include getting MBA course this year and I planned to go to Ivy League as my choice of school.

I believe Aringo has a number of great competitors. However, I can't share my thoughts on the matter. I have just decided to pursue MBA and still on the process of reviewing several things for my preparations. Please try to research on MBA Consulting services/companies.
