Need Help with OG Questions

I need help with some OG Math questions, the explanations in OG are not very clear. Can someone help me. I'm currently working on 11th Edition.

Sorry, we cannot directly answer OG question on this forum because GMAC has asked us not to. However, the previously answered questions are still up on this forum, and you can search for answers to specific questions there. In addition, if you are in our classes, you can ask during office hours, or before/after class.
