OG DS-146

PAGE 336 of the OG - Orange book (11th ed) - the answer for (a) seems incorrect to me
if n^2 is an integer, then clearly n is an integer.

Is not correct?

Never mind: I understand now
for statement (1), n could be SQ RT(7) - which would make n^2 an integer, but n would not be an int.

Glad you caught that. Just a heads-up: we cannot discuss OG problems for copyright reasons. (BTW, everyone should review our policies periodically). Thanks!
