On planet Flarp

by ErikM442 Mon Mar 23, 2015 7:08 am

On planet Flarp, 3 floops equal 5 fleeps, 4 fleeps equal 7 flaaps, and 2 flaaps equal 3 fliips. How manyfloops are equal to 35 fliips?

I really don't understand how this conversion is done. Any simple explaination to this?

Thanks

if i told you that, at current exchange rates, 1 euro equals 1.12 US dollars and 1 US dollar equals 1.24 Canadian dollars, would you be able to convert a price of 69.99 Canadian dollars into euros?

if the answer is yes, then the problem here lies solely in the words.

if the answer is no, then we can talk about conversion methods.

either way let us know.

by the way, no GMAC problem will ever contain such deceptively similar names.

there's a GMATPrep problem that's essentially identical to this one, only with different numbers. in that problem, the three kinds of currency are "crowns", "shields", and "pounds", among which the chance of confusion is nil.
