Hi
I am a dentist and have done post graduation in Oral pathology (duration 3 years). after which I have joined a job in a dental college for one year. I am in a dilemma that whether my post graduation will be considered in work experience or not. I am also eager t know that what kind of candidate I make? conventional/unconventional? what are my prospects of getting into top colleges? Please guide

Hi! It's hard for me to tell from what you have told me here exactly your role when you did the post-grad work in oral pathology. Were you seeing patients? Was there any practice management involved? Typically MBA applicants in the medical profession are considered non-traditional when compared with others who typically apply - from areas such as Wall Street or consulting. It's difficult for me to assess your profile with such limited information provided here.

Best of luck,

Rachel Beck
