SNAP preparation

The SNAP preparation demands a whole different angle for the
preparation aspect as its marking scheme is quite different from the
other conventional management exams. Due to this fact the candidate have
to concentrate on all the aspects and topics while preparing for the
examination. It is divided into four sections which have equal number of
questions and equal weight age is given to three sections in terms of
marks distribution also. The last topics have some real time analysis
which is very important so this section have extra mark as compare to
other sections. The examination is bounded in a 120 minutes time
structure and no extra time is allotted in any case. This examination as
all other management examination is of objective type. Each question
has four answers and the candidate have to answer the most appropriate
answer. There is negative marking for 25 percent for every wrong answer
in the examination.

The four sections of the SNAP are as follows:
1. General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability
2. Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency
3. General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario
4. Analytical & Logical Reasoning



Structure of SNAP

Symbiosis
National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is in the MCQ format giving four options
with 180 questions. The examination is of two hours duration and the
paper is divided into four parts

Analytical & Logical Reasoning: 60
General Awareness :40
General English: 40
Quantitative : 40


There will be negative marking for the incorrect answer, 25% of deduction.

The first three sections are of 40 marks each and the last
section is of 60 marks. The time management while preparing for this
kind of exam is very important factor as the race against time cannot be

to test our approach in solving problem under a limited time period.
