Probability issue

There are 10 cards numbered 1-10, pic 5 cards at random. What is the probability that the P(mean>median) ?

hi,
this post doesn't follow the forum rules.

* first, please read the forum rules (first post at the top of every folder, including this one).

when you read the rules, you'll notice the following requirements for each post:
* you must cite the ORIGINAL source of the problem. this means the author/company that originally created the problem; i.e., you can't cite another forum (or other secondhand source) where the problem was posted by any user other than the author him- or herself.
* you must provide the FULL problem, with all answer choices.
* you must title the post according to the first few words of the problem.

we can let the last requirement (title of the post) slide somewhat, but the first two requirements are strict -- there are a lot of "copyright landmines" that we have to avoid here.

please post the problem in conformance with these rules in the next week or so, or else we'll have to delete this thread. thanks.
