Hello,
Thanks for sharing your profile. I admire your ambition. There are few things you should know about the admissions process for top schools like the ones you are aiming for:
1. Professional experience is very important. The typical MBA applicant has an average of 5 years of professional experience.
2. Leadership experience is very important - both within your professional organization and in your community and extracurricular activities.
3. Academic achievement is also very important. Your analytic capability is generally measured through your undergraduate GPA and your GMAT score. For top schools, it is recommended that you have a GMAT score of 700+.
So, my recommendation to you would be to go gain experience. You are very young and have a lot of life! The average applicant is around 27 years old. So, I'd say focus on getting a great job -- I know you want to start your own business, but it's important to have experience before you embark on that path. Apply for jobs in the finance sector and really spend a couple years building up your experience and becoming a leader at your organization. Fill your free time with things that demonstrate your passion and leadership capability, too -- get back into sports, serve your community, etc. Definitely retake the GMAT and work on improving your score.
In a few years, if you do all this, you may find yourself ready to apply to your dream schools.
Best of luck,
Mili
