profile evaluation

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to know which schools i should target at
I am planning for Kelloggs, Ross, Tuck,NYU etc.

Here is a Brief description of my profile

B.tech (Mechanical) Premier Indian Institute - 80 % (university topper)
12 th - 75 %
10th - 85 %

GMAT - 680

1.Experience of 6.5 years in Commercial Automobile industry in almost all Functions of Marketing and Sales
Currently Heading- Marketing and Sales of North India for Mercedes- Benz Trucks

2.Sports : National level Player in Kho - Kho ( Under 19 Bronze Medalist , Under 17 Silver Medallist )
3.Supervisor of Punjab Sports teams in 2000

4.Bhangra Team Player
5.Guitar Player in College Band, Vocal Singer
6.Active in Social Services
7.Lead Cross Functional Teams with my previous employers with proven results.
8.Active as a international trader as a side business( though i dont have any written record to show except the skills and knowledge )

Would be great if u can provide with some details about colleges i should target.

Hi,

Thanks for submitting your profile. Your work experience is very interesting and quite impressive. Your academic record is fairly good, but I'd have loved to see that GMAT break the 700 barrier. Finally, your extracurriculars are pretty strong, but it seems that they may be quite dated -- do you have any recent community and extracurricular leadership activities?

You've got a shot at the programs that you mentioned, but you'd be a much stronger candidate if you could improve your GMAT score. Any chance of retaking the test?

In terms of schools to target with current profile, I'd add Michigan Ross to your list. I'm not sure what your career goals are or what you're targeting in a school though, so it's hard to recommend specific schools. I'd say pull together a balanced list from tier 1 programs, and you'd be in good shape.
