Quantitative Timing

by godmantan Tue Sep 20, 2011 5:40 pm

I am consistently getting through about 30 questions in the quant section before having to start guessing. Before I start guessing, I'm usually in the 85th percentile range. This drops to the 70-75% range once I finish guessing. What are some strategies that I could implement to fix this? Generally, I spend time on EVERY question, even if I don't think I'll be able to answer it. Should I try guessing immediately on a few questions, just to make sure I get through the exam? Someone has also suggested that I guess on a few at the very beginning. How might this affect my score? Please help! Thanks.
