I've been getting conflicting information on the importance of community service.
If you've traveled for consulting or enslaved yourself in ibanking and have no community service due to time constraints,
can you still get into a top 10 business school?

Please shed some light on this topic.

They do get in without much extracurriculars, which means they have to rely on college extracurriculars.

With bankers or consultants, the strength of their candidacy comes down to the pedigree on their resume (school, employer) if they don't have much else that helps them stand out (being a D1 athlete in college, or doing something unusual post-analyst like becoming a film producer).
