Request for Profile evaluation

Hi ,

Yesterday i took the GMAT test and got 600 (Q 49 ,V23) .

My profile is :
I am in the field service industry working for fortune 10 company ,
and working for an MNC for the last 3 and half years .
Have a 6 months international work experience .

Didn't got big promotions in my career . actually one is due to me since recession they stopped promotions .

worked for NGO's a year or so ...

My question is :

What are the chances of getting in University of cincinnati , University of Toronto and uiversity of illionis Urbana champaign .

Or shall i retake the test and apply for 2011. however i am keen to start this year only ...

Hi and thanks for your inquiry.

For all three of the schools you mention, your GMAT is within their middle-80% range so I don't think that will be an obstacle. Depending on your gpa and the quality of your essays and experiences, I think you'll be competitive at those schools this year.

Thanks for the follow up; I'm not sure where you went to college and therefore what that 72% means, but if it's a reasonable average, then I continue to believe that those are good choices for you. Just be sure to showcase your leadership and how you drive results in your application.

What would be the career aspects when we change the job profile ..

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question. I don't think selecting one option or another on a drop down will have an effect on the school's decision; what's important is that in your essays you show a logical flow from your past to your present to your future, including transferable skills.

I'm not familiar with what career prospects in various fields are, or will be like when you graduate, I'm sorry.
