"S is composed of 5 different integers."

by rchen1987 Sun Mar 01, 2009 6:26 pm

Is the accepted gmat interpretation that there are 5 integers with different values (IE: x,y,z,a,b) or that there are 5 different values but unlimited integers? (IE: x,y,z,a,b,x,a,b)

I only ask because of the 02/23/04 challenge problem.

Great question. The first one. Because it says the set is composed of five numbers, it means five numbers in total; these numbers happen to also be different integers.
