Bombed the verbal part. After the quant session was over, I was feeling pretty good actually, which the 49 score indicates. But I was a bit nervous about the verbal section since I wasn't scoring quite high on verbals, even during the practice test. The highest I scored on verbal was v-37 when I got a 700 on the practice test, but my quant always stayed in the 47-49 range.
I do plan to re-take the test. I hope schools don't consider my first score as a negative or average the two scores? Do they average?
Can someone help me device a plan for verbal, may be I can even get an instructor session? The critical reasoning part is where I struggled the most I think. Apart from that, RC and SC obviously didn't go as well today. I've realized that timing is my biggest weakness in verbal. I can get stuck on a problem easily. Today, I had to guess on the last 3 verbal questions.
