Hi,

Here is my answer: the Least Common Multiple of 6 and 8 is 24 (6=2 x 3 and 8=2x2x2)

So any number that is divisible by both 6 and 8 will be a multiple of 24, 24 is divisible by 12, and therefore any number divisible by 6 and 8 will be divisible by 12.

I would do the problem this way, too. "Must also be divisible by" is code for "LCM."
