V = 1 / (2r)^3 [OG PS-202]

Can someone please explain why the answer for this problem is "B"

Best option is assume a value for r.
Ler r=2

V = 1/(2*2)^3
V = 1/64 ------(1)

Now what happens when r is halved . i.e r = 1
V = 1/(2*1)^3
V = 1/8 -------(2)

Question askes us what should we multiple eqution 1 to get equation 2
Clearly (1/8) /(1/64) = 8
