what is a decent GMAT score for my profile?

Hi,
Greetings! I am planning for Fall 2013 MBA admission, either in one of the top 15 B-schools in States, or LBS, Insead & IMD in Europe.

My Background:
I am 27yrs old, a medical doctor by education. I completed MBBS in 2007, from one of the top 10 schools in India and scoring in top 5% in Delhi University.

Soon after my graduation i joined corporate world and i have been working in the same STM publishing house (World leader in Health sciences publishing) for past more than 3 years (as of today). I started on a managerial position (one of the youngest managers in the 10,000plus employee organization) and currently i am working in a project and business development profile and jointly responsible for achieving the divisional sales target. I will have close to 5year work experience by July 2013 (1yr rotatory internship in a hospital as a clinical intern + approx. 4 years in the STM publishing giant).

I have done a few research and community based projects during and after my graduations. I have also been visiting part-time clinic and continuing my medical practice.

Kindly suggest what should the GMAT score and the Quant/Verbal breakup that i should be targeting at to get into one of the above mentioned B-schools.

Hello!

You've got a really interesting and non-traditional background coming from the medical profession, which I believe will serve you well in the application process. I'd suggest that you target a 700+ GMAT score, with an 80th percentile or above on each section for the schools you are targeting.
