Hi, just to make it clear – I have been reviewing colleges across Singapore extensively because I intend to apply next year J Was very keen on the MGB program as they don’t require any prior experience. The placements are the key and they seem amazing!

I really don’t know how the placements would be next year. But this year, some 12 students were offered a salary of 20 lakhs! Imagine! And all of them without any prior work experience!

Ajit, it is also important to figure out your own long term goal. INSEAD, NUS & S P Jain Global, all of these b-schools are really great and Asia's best b-schools. Singapore based NUS is no doubt great in terms of study and placement, alike INSEAD but S P Jain Global is an Australian B-school that has made its MBA programs more actual and realistic with it's tri-city business model. Students need to travel three different countries (Australia, Singapore, UAE) to learn the business etiquette, cultural behavior, Strategical understanding.

Three different countries with three different culture - Western, Chinese & Gulf. Doesn't it worth? I am able to write all these, cause I have recently joined S P Jain Global GMBA program that's really helping to get in touch with real world skills. Also the past placement data and alumni helped me a lot to get this b-school confirmed.

Recently my MGB cohorts secured great placements with great salary. Around 17 MGB cohorts got more 20 lacs package without much work experience, which is quite encouraging for me right now. If they can get such a big package, then I can expect more out of GMBA but one thing to take care is your ability to deal with this.

Check out: http://www.spjain.org/MGB-placements.aspx

So my suggestion for you to think about your future goals - is it earning money, global status or designation, whatever? S P Jain Global can help you with it.

Good Luck!

I am currently in 12th grade and I am confused between BBA and BMS. Out of the two, which one is a better course? Also how are BBA courses in abroad?

According to me, BBA is a lot better course than BMS. I have myself pursued BBA and hence I can tell you that BMS concentrates on analytical and logical oriented studies, while BBA course concentrates on core elements of business which is more helpful. Moreover if you happen to take up MBA in the future, BBA would prove to be very helpful to you. BBA courses in abroad are pretty good, they give you a lot of exposure and also offer internships.

Hi, I have recently completed my graduation from a reputed college in Mumbai. I am keen to pursue my studies further and do an MBA (preferably in international business) as the prospects for getting a better paid job are higher. However, after researching on MBA colleges abroad thoroughly, I have noticed that almost all of them require at least 2-3 years minimum work experience. As it is important for me to continue my studies further before working, I am in a dilemma as I can’t find a suitable course for me. Please help!

Hi Ashish. I am an education consultant and have been one for almost a decade. The problem you face is a fairly common one that most recent graduates are going through. As an alternate to MBA, I would recommend you look into a Masters degree offered abroad by various colleges in the UK, Australia, Singapore, Dubai, etc. They require no compulsory work experience and the placements one would get after a masters course are pretty good if done from a reputed college.

Thank you for your input. I wouldn’t mind taking a Masters degree into consideration as it does feel like a feasible option, but I would need to research further. Could you recommend some reputable colleges abroad that offer good Masters Courses?

1. Singapore: Nanyang, SP Jain School of Global Management and UCLA
2. U.K: London School of Business, Manchester Business School & Warwick.
3. Dubai: Hult International Business School, MBS & SP Jain School of Global Management.
