Our books go into quite a bit of detail on this issue. Can you tell me what parts of the books’ descriptions of how to turn English in to math didn’t make sense to you?
I generally recommend using tables whenever you can to set up problems, because they are more organized and can often use fewer variables than a series of algebraic equations..
