Absolutely!

Here is a link to a complete diagram for the game, including the diagrams for each question: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KVX ... sp=sharing

A couple of notes: You'll see K crossed out under Monday's slot. That's because K must be next to G, and G can't be on either Sunday or Tuesday. Because of this, the GK reversible chunk must be Wed/Th, Th/Fri, or Fri/Sat. In the Fri/Sat option, however, G and K aren't reversible: G must be Fri and K must be Sat, since whomever is Sat is also Sun, and G can only go once.

During the Big Pause, I noticed that L is a stray and circled it. I also considered framing the three options for the GK chunk, but because there aren't other rules about those letters, I decided not to. I did, however, store that idea for individual questions. If I got a conditional question with a rule that didn't start a big domino effect, I would consider how the rule impacted the GK chunk and draw frames for the question accordingly. That's why question 20, 21, and 23 answer choice E each have 2 diagrams.

In 23, I eliminated three answers based on previous work from other questions. That's indicated by the text "pw." and the question number beside the eliminated answer.

Below the full game is an image of the three frames that you could have created at the outset of the game around the GK chunk.

I hope this helps! If you have further questions about the master setup or frames, please post them here. If you need help with an individual question, please make a separate post in the forum for that question number.

Happy studying!

I noticed that you could make four frames: for each variable on Sun/Sat being H, N, L, K. But is this wise?

It depends on how they shook out for you!

It generally goes against my instincts to make 4 frames, both because it takes a while to generate them, and because it takes longer to determine for each question which frame/s I need to be considering. The one exception to that is in a Relative Ordering game with 2 either/or rules. Those I tend to frame out in all four ways the either/or rules can intersect.

When I played out the 4 frames you suggested, 2 of them led to two definite placements and a cloud (H and N in Sat/Sun), 1 led to a cloud and some dual options (L in Sat and Sun), and 1 didn't fill in much at all (K in Sat/Sun). That's pretty good, but not great.

I think this game would shake out a little quicker for me without the frames than with them, but I can't be 100% certain of that because of my level of familiarity with the game. I'll never have a truly accurate read on how long I'd spend without the frames because the work to answer each question will always be quicker since I've done this game a few times.

My general rule is that I frame splits of 2 or 3 but typically not 4, and I only frame when it looks like every frame will include a lot of definite placements. But everyone is different and you need to do what yields you the most points with the least time and effort, so play around with framing these bigger splits when you see them and compare your results to similar games in which you didn't frame.

hope this helps!

It's true that K can't occur in Monday's slot but there can be a GK chunk for Sun/Mon as well. It just has to be KG. It didn't make a difference, but something people should be aware of.
