I am attaching a sketch where I treated this as a numbered ordering game. You could also treat it as a relative ordering game, in view of the wording of the constraints, but I think that makes less sense here since the questions often ask about a specific slot.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments!

i missed deductions

i had p,t,g,l crossed out under 1
g,l crossed out under 2
l crossed out under 3
4 and 5 nothing crossed out
l crossed out under 6

isn't it TP or PT?? ( rule 4- t and p are next to each other)

You are absolutely right! Thanks very much. I would have lost big points on this one for my careless reading. Attached is my updated copy.

Very often when a test taker is having trouble with ordering questions, it turns out to be a case of not making enough inferences beforehand. Remember that in a numbered ordering game, lots of your inferences are going to be figuring out where certain elements can't go, so it absolutely is worth while to take the time and check.

yea i was just making sure...thanks for the update.

i had the right "relative ordering" of
f-pt-l-g
and
f-tp-l-g

with m as a variable (floater)

i just did not make further deductions. i always stop midway thinking i made enough already.

For good measure, I am attaching a diagram in pdf form in case anyone wants to print it out :)

Any other questions on this game?
