LSAT Writing section browser crashed before test

by ElizabethP415 Wed Dec 18, 2019 9:27 am

So, I was setting up the LSAT writing test, and it closed out of the software on my computer. I had not actually started the exam. I was in the process of doing the "room scan" for those of you that have done this. Now, it will not let me back into the exam. I am going to contact LSAC during business hours, but does anyone have any experience with this? Will they reset the test considering I never even started it, opened it, or saw the prompt?

Hey, Elizabeth.

Sorry, this stuff it too new for us to have any anecdotes to lean on. I assume that LSAC will be understanding and lenient. They are experiencing lots of hiccups in rolling out their new digital LSAT, so they should have some humility that the mistake probably occurred on their end (i.e. the software's fault, not yours).

Hope you get a quick, satisfying answer.
