Q12

by gem_jenny34 Wed Jun 26, 2013 2:43 pm

I understand how the answer is A, but I am having a difficult time eliminating answer choice C.
As per diagram, I get that it would be N, R, M, K, either P or O in the next two slots, and then L.
But how would O not be west of Lowes?

Hey Gem,

Once we know that it's M-O (i.e., O comes after M), this forces MK in the third and fourth slots (because if it were KM in the fourth and fifth slots, there wouldn't be room for O after the M, as P-L would be in the final two slots).

We know that P-L come in that order and go after MK. However, we don't know if it's OPL, POL, or PLO. The O can go ANYWHERE as long as it's after the MK.

Hope that helps!
