Thanks
No problem. First of all, sorry about my diagram - it says "P56, S2, G2, when it should read 53, S3, G3. What kind of geek am I?
Anyway, for 16, if X and Y both confess, we're going to need two open C slots for them. Since Z takes up either slot 1 or 2, we can only get one C slot for our X and Y friends there. Where could the second one go? It can't go in 3 because T is there, and it can't go in 4 because that's a NC slot, so the second C slot must be 5, so that's why in my mini-diagram I put an "X/Y" there, as I don't know which one would go there. Since both V and X must come after Z, regardless of whether Z is in slot 1 or 2, we can't have V there, because we need the other one of those two slots to be used for a C X/Y, so V must go in slot 4, which means it must be a non-confessor.
Does that make sense?
