This is a very simple question that becomes tricky only if you overthink it. Freud doesn't apply his concepts to fairy tales, because they don't create any kind of conflict with reality. This is because anything is allowed.
B) Freud would not say EVERYTHING in fairy tales is purely imaginary. There are still men and women, wars, castles, rivers, knights, violence, etc. This answer choice just goes too far. There's plenty of stuff that isn't imaginary in fairy tales.
C) The problem, as Freud saw it, is that fairy tales are ALLOWED to have anything imaginary in them, so there are no rules that are being broken.
