Why is the answer for this question D?

shouldn't it be B?
If Z is on Tuesday then we know H is on monday. KO is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday which leave U friday.
O/K
H Z O/K I U
M T W R F

That does not have to be true. We could have KO go Thursday/Friday or Wednesday/Thursday. Although these days would have KO with another person on a day, KO is still scheduled for consecutive days with one another.

We want to force U's placement as to where it cannot go anywhere but 1 place. We need to decide how to place Z where this can happen. We know that Z cannot go on a Monday. Placing it on a Tuesday, as noted above, does not force U into a spot. The KO reversible block could go Tuesday/Wednesday, Wednesday/Thursday, Thursday/Friday.

The thing I immediately thought about was placing Z on Thursday, giving it 2 members. This forces the KO reversible block into M-T-W. We know that one of K/O will be on a Tuesday. We also know with Z being on a Thursday, H would have to precede it. So we know have 3 variables for those 3 days of M-T-W. So we know that U must be on Friday.

Since there can be two students scheduled on Tuesday, U or I can either be Tuesday or Friday. From this it doesn't appear that U's "day" is determined. Please explain. Thank you.
